There are no two opinions about the Blogger’s security system, according to the latest surveys it’s reported that blogger is the only blogging platform which can neither hacked nor hijacked because of professionalized security provided by Google. While on the other hand, most of Blogger users are shifting to WordPress because of repeated clicking bombing and content stealing. Although few Blogger devotees are still finding a way out by either banning or restricting the IP Address of click bombers. So, if you are afraid of spammers and want to restrict them from viewing your blog, then you have come to the right place. In this article, we will show you how you can ban a certain country IP address.

>When We Should Ban a Certain IP Address:

No one really wants to restrict a certain user from accessing his blog because every publisher loves and admires his readers, but the situation changes significantly when someone repeatedly violate your blog terms and instead of realizing them one after the another commits same errors. Therefore to make our community pleasant we have to take some timely actions, by banning those users who are violating our terms.

However, the banned user can still access your website by using different proxies, which hide the identity of a certain computer by changing its IP address. Proxy websites were officially designed to access those websites which are either banned or not working in your country but many users are using them in hacking and stealing.

How To Ban an IP Address In Blogger:

To ban or restrict an IP Address from visiting or viewing your blog we have to take the help of a website which is built to limit users from visiting specific websites so to do follow the subsequent instructions.

Step# 1: First go to a website http://toolator.com and register your free account.
  • Select your username but it should be in between 5 to 15 Characters.
  • Enter your correct email address. Remember a verification email will be required to activate your account, so don’t make false attempts by entering wrong email addresses.
  • Write your Blog/Website Link but make sure you align the http:// and the trailing slash with your web address.
  • Agree to their terms & conditions and press Create Account to complete registration.
Step# 2: Now after verifying your email address you will receive your Username and Password, just login into your account. And now we will install the IP blocker script in our Blogger BlogSpot Blog to do so
  • First go to Website Code (Present on the left side of your screen in the navigation menu on toolator.com)
  • Now you will be able to see a Script, just copy it (CTRL+C).
  • Then go to Blogger.com >> Layout >> Add a Gadget >> Html/JavaScript.
  • Now paste the script code in the box which we copied earlier and press Save button.
Step# 3: After pasting the IP Blocker Script your Blogger Blog is ready for banning any user. So when any one violates your rules, do click bombing or steal your content, just do as follows.
  • Now you will able to see three boxes i.e. IP Address, Redirect To, and Reason. Just fill the boxes according to your needs and Press Block an IP button to finish banning.

Answering Some Important Queries:

Why Toolator.com is banning only three IP Address?
Answer: Yes you are right, tootlator.com allows us to ban only three IP address. However, if you want to ban more IP address register a new account and by following the same steps you can ban 3 more users. And you can keep on registering new accounts till you reach satisfaction.

Is there any other ways to Ban IP Address in Blogger BlogSpot Blog?
Answer: The answer of this question is extremely straightforward, and that is a big NO. Although, there are some PHP scripts available on different websites but none of them work. So it’s better to use the thing which is working perfectly.

Banning IP Address violates Google Rules and regulations?
Answer: Using some extra ordinary scripts to jam or choke BlogSpot Blog may possibly violate rules and regulations of Blogger but Blocking IP address is not against its rules, so you must feel free to ban unwanted users.

So, guys that’s it finally Protect Your Content Series is ended on a high note. Soon we will be ending our other running series and try our best to come up with lots of new exciting stuff. 1:No one wants to block any user you can report and claim & removal of your content if you found any on another site to Dmca or Google.

2:By the way,How do we get someone`s ip on blogger i know there are some third part applications but they might slow down your blog and that`s not good for your Seo.
