The reason why people most oftenly prefer to disable lightbox is because they don't want to stop users from the flow of reading a certain article. When a person clicks an image, it automatically opens up in a lightbox that might disturb their flow of reading. In this article, we will show you How to Disable Image Lightbox in Blogger.

The very first thing you need to do is to login into your Blogger Account, and from the list of your blogs select the one which you would like to disable the image lightbox. Go to Settings ›› Posts and comments ›› Showcase images with Lightbox and from the drop down change "Yes" to "No" (shown in the screenshot below.

Congratulations: Once everything is done save the template and that's all. You have successfully disable image lightbox from blogger. Now go and check your site to see, if the lightbox is working or not. If your template is built by standard developers, then this should be working pretty well.
