Last Week, there were significant reports and rumors about the Google Panda update. On January 15, 2013 lots of webmasters witnessed sudden fluctuation in their Search engine ranking. Similarly, on January 17, 2013 there were lots more signs about the algorithm update but the next day Google declined all updates. That is what they tweeted on Twitter.
As soon as Google declined to accept the Algorithm update the whole webmaster community guessed that they will roll out a proper refresh in a few days. Two days later, they did exactly the same. Though, the impact of the refresh was not that significant but still many webmasters are getting low traffic to their website. On the other hand, many Bloggers have witnessed decent increase in their traffic as well as SERP Ranking.
Some more proves that we got through Google Analytics. In the following screenshot, we can clearly see a sudden increase in traffic. It is not even a unusual occasion or any other festival than how we are seeing sudden increase in traffic. Well, that’s because Google has finally push a refresh. Take a look as the following screenshot.
Here are Past 6 Back-to-Back Panda Algorithm Updates:
- Panda#23 on December 21st. 1.3% of English queries.
- Panda #22 on November 21st. 0.8% of English queries were affected
- Panda Update #21 on November 5th, less than 1.1% queries
- Panda Update #20 on September 27th, 2.4% English queries.
- Panda 3.9.2 on September 18th, affected less than 0.8% queries.
- Panda 3.9.1 on August 20th, about 1% queries affected.
From the Editor’s Desk:
I guess everyone was well aware that, this would happen. Nowadays, Google is now behaving like a silly kid. One day they say that there is no Algo refresh and on another day they confirmed the Algorithm update. They should stick to one thing either decline or accept it straightforwardly. The same thing happened in previous update too. This is the reason, why all webmasters have recognized all the tactics of the search engine giant. Does it affect your site traffic? Feel free to leave your comments till then, Peace, Blessings and Happy Blogging.
