Google Penguin 1.1 Algorithm Minor Update Released

Advertisements
After previous Penguins and Panda Updates, while all bloggers and webmaster were busy in wiping out their tears Google is set to roll out yet another fireball. Yes you are right, I am talking about the dangerous animal for Bloggers the Penguins, not really.  After the last penguin update, the majority of Blogger were disappointed very badly as they saw a huge drop down in their traffic. But now they need to be more serious towards their blog to keep themselves in the race of top bloggers. It has been officially confirmed by Google’s senior engineer Matt Cutts that the Penguin 1.1 Algorithm is updated with new and improved functionality, which will fight against the entire webspam communities and try its best to keep the internet as pure as he can.

Google Officially Released Minor Penguin 1.1 Algorithm Update:

The renowned engineer Matt Cutts used twitter on Friday to announce “Minor climate report: We pushed 1st Penguin algorithm statistics refresh an hour ago. Affects <0.1% of English searches” The Previous penguin release was back in 24 April which affected 3.1% of English searched queries, while the most recent Panda algorithm update affected search queries close to 15 percent, so if we compare the recent and pervious updates we came across the conclusion that This Penguin 1.1 update looks minor.

Our Motive to Fight against Web Spam Says Google:

The main intend of the Penguin algorithm update is to fight against those websites which are promoting webspam. By penalizing sites which are violating the rules and regulations of Google's quality guidelines, including those sites that are using over-optimized or Black Hat SEO Tactics. But still Google has not revealed any specific reasons why a site is penalized by Penguin Algorithm, that’s what Google’s official blog says.

“We advice webmasters to concentrate on their content, they need to promote high quality content. We want them to create gorgeous content. Create fine user experience and utilize white hat SEO methods instead of engaging in destructive webspam tactics.”

How To Protect Your Blog From Google Penguin:

Lacking Content:
Content is considered as most fruitful part of a blog, it is the only thing which is responsible for engaging audience. So to keep our self in the race of top quality bloggers, we need to give importance to our content as according to Google, Content is king.

Low Quality Backlinks:
In old day, we use to think backlinks are the only thing which makes us superior to other.  But in reality backlinks does makes such big difference, until they are of high quality. Getting irrational backlinks will not improve our SEO instead it will lower our site quality. So its simple we need to concentrate on building highly professional content, and should ignore false backlinks.

Removing Duplicate Content:
Creating duplicate content is the worst thing for a blogger. It not only kills our credibility, but also makes us similar to other. So we need to observe our site from an eye of Bot, making sure that all our main pages are enriched with flourishing content.

Blogging Is Not a One Day Game:
When ever blogger starts blogging his main aim is to drive traffic to his blog, in quick period of time. However, due to lack of guidance he commits numberless blunders one after another. We need to realize blogging is not a one day game, to achieve success it’s necessary to apply our self for long terms.

Create and Use Google Webmaster Account:
Google often contact webmasters, to point out their mistakes. Some times they highlight problems that they observed on your site. They won’t send a specific message related to any Penguin updates I.e. 1.0 or 1.2. But webmaster tools can be used to determine your mistakes, and can guide you to improve them with correct strategies.
So, what you think? Google Penguin Algorithm would eliminate the word of webspam, or spammers will continue to dominate it. All these mind-boggling questions are yet to be answered. Give your thoughts about Penguin Update, if you see a rise in your traffic then Penguin loves you, it you see a loss in your traffic then Penguin is angry and if your traffic is unchanged then penguin neither loves nor hates you. I feel really happy to mention this “Alhamdulillah Google Penguin is Being Cute to us” till then Peace, Blessings and Happy Updating.
