Bounce rate is considered as the cool devil for those who belong to the Blogger terminology. Bounce rate is the percentage of those visitors who landed on your website but did not navigate to any other page within the site. It could be extremely frustrating if you fail to reduce your bounce rate in spite of investing lots of money in SEO and Paid advertisements. Bounce rate indicates that your content is not relevant, or your writing style has failed to create the spark in minds of your visitors. Bloggers should understand that first impression is the last impression, so In order to reduce bounce rate bloggers should engage with their visitors and every now and then try to win their trust. On the other hand, websites with high bounce rates are more likely rank low in the search engines.

How To Reduce Your Blog’s Bounce Rate Effectively?

In this blog posts, we will be learning the simplest techniques to reduce or decrease our blog’s bounce rate, by applying the following techniques you will notice a significant decrease in your bounce rate, but  you should keep in mind that it may take time depends how better you apply them.

Work on Internal Page Linking:

The simplest way to reduce your bounce rate is to increase your internal page linking this requires almost zero efforts and give tremendous results. By linking your pages, you are inviting your visitors to navigate through your website but make sure you don’t link too many pages that search engines might think there is something fishy out there, be concise and link 4 to 5 relevant pages.
In the above snapshot, you can clearly assume that an internal link is point to another page so if a visitor would click that link it will decrease your bounce rate. At (MyBloggerLab.com) we consistently use this technique so we highly recommend that you start adding internal links near the top section of your post.

Be Thoughtful While Placing Ads:

The most common flaw which really triggers our bounce rate is Advertisements. Let us face it, no one really loves ads but it’s the bitter truth that majority of Blogs and website could not persist without them. Advertisements are enemies of visitors while for blog administrators it’s the fruits of their hard work.

What would happen, if you were enjoying your favorite TV program and all of a sudden your Big brother came, snatched the remote control and changed the channel? So in an identical way pop up ads annoys your visitor and that cause increase in your bounce rate.

You need to align your advertisements correctly so they may not intrude your visitors while they are busy in reading your content. Ads that are too close to your navigation could accidently cause some unintentional clicks and your users may leave your website in frustration.

Optimize Your Page’s Layout – Make it Responsive:

Crafting a responsive design is getting extremely crucial in these days where we have gadgets like Smartphones, Tablets and etc.  A Responsive layout can be created with high resolution CSS media coding.

For more prominent result, don’t forget to use high resolutions images with crystal sharp display this will help those visitors, who are using low resolution monitors. By optimizing Blog’s layout, your visitors will find something different from other website because you are offering much better content and has highly magnified layout.

Build Clean and Error Free Site Navigation:

Your Blog’s navigation should be clean and prominent so it may not take your visitors to the wrong page, which they never selected. Try to optimize your navigation for portable devices i.e. Mobiles, Tablet and etc. If you have large amount of mobile visitors, then don’t use Drop down menus because mostly these menus crashes in mobile and could cause serious damage to the mobile device.

If you site consists of heaps of content, then create a sitemap page so your visitors can get everything in one place in a systematic order.

Increase Your Site’s Speed:

If your visitors exit their landing pages because of low site speed, then you are in enormous trouble. Make sure you optimize your speed because every visitor looks for fast and reliable content they don’t recommend sluggish website, and even Google dislikes it. Keep in mind every one cannot afford fast and furious internet connect, here you few quick tips to decrease your page load time as well as bounce rate.
